Assurance.

It's going to be super lame sometimes.
Almost like dealing with a child. But you wouldn't budge to deal with it anyway cause you have been in that role too. Regardless of what age you are, what profession you work in, what kind of choices you have or how mature you are. Someday, you'll feel the void. Everyone does. And nothing else but being treated like a child, being pampered like a baby, will fill that crack in your heart. They will need assurance, just like you do. They will need to know you still feel the same way or even more so. If you still check your phone the first thing in the morning just to see their text. Whether or not you still keep ranting about them timelessly in front of your pals. Do you still like to eat their favourite food, when you miss them. Watching the movies you once watched together, listening to songs you once connected to together, reading old chats, listening to old audios, watching age old pictures, gazing into the infinity or just thinking about them unknowingly as you realise you've been stirring the coffee for just too long.
They will need to know it, just, just like you do.
But if you get tired of their drama, or get fed up by how much attention they need. By how many times they need to hear your voice, how oversensitive they get about you, the way they need to say a happy good bye before they cut the call, their absolute necessity to get your tummy filled, their sudden urges to show up at your place or the habit of not sleeping unless you say good night.
You got to let it go. Cause never will you be done catering to someone's every whim if you truly, madly, unconditionally, absolutely love them.
