Raveena.

Both named after fame, Raveena was called so because her mother, our house maid, once had the golden experience of witnessing the actress's acting during a film shoot and Harry Potter so, because Raveena knew only one Hollywood movie and her accidental pet had to be different than Chotu, Golu, Bablu and Goti.
The 15th door, in the left lane of 12 by 12 houses, more like squares made out of steel sheets and red bricks on top for weighing them down, was theirs. Roofs flying off along with the spices, kept to soak in some Sun, was apparently an usual deal.
Harry Potter or Johnny Depp, I have been scared of dogs since I was a child. So when the celebrity came barking at me from 50 meters away, I had to run for my life and hide behind Raveena, who was combing her oil bathed hair into a plat. Laughing at my vulnerability, she shushed Mr.Potter.
To give you a panoramic perspective: to the immediate right of the main and the only entrance was a wooden cupboard, two door and cracked. The only storage space in that entire house, in which lived Raveena, her mother, her drunkard father, her younger school going sister, another younger sister, but uneducated because they could afford to send only one child to school, her elder brother, who lived more on his bike(which they could afford) than in home, her married elder sister, of whose drunkard husband also stayed with them and lastly, the occasional visitor, the wizard.
To the left of the wardrobe, was a silver metal framed mirror, big enough to show you how your nose is looking, in front of which Miss.Raveena currently flattered herself. Beside it was a show piece hung, on the single hook in the entire room/ house, evidently made out of a cardboard box. To it's side, the kitchen. Dung and mud based platform, on top a single burner stove, 5-6 multipurpose utensils, 4 plates, 2 tea cups and a matka to contain water. Towards the left, lay a single wooden bed with three handmade cotton mattresses made out of old clothes. Which, I suppose, were used by the women to sleep on the floor while the drunk king rested on the throne(here). One of the bed's legs was half the size of the other three. Hence, three uneven pieces of a marble tile underlay it. Beside the bed, the last object in the house and the most used too, sat the T.V. Currently playing the repeat telecast for The Big Boss.
Amusing.
You can imagine how long her hair was, since I took a complete tour of her home and yet Raveena still kept plating it.
I could've gone hours contemplating how sad and miserable a life they were living.  How convenient and poor. How much grave. How can anyone be happy here.
And Raveena, right before when I was about to leave, caught me by my arm, pulled me towards the entrance and exclaimed, " You know what's the best part about living right in the center of the chaul Didi? The common water tap is right outside our door!"
